I am a wife and a mother to two beautiful girls who keep me on me feet!
All of the positive outcomes I've experienced through the WILDFIT 90 Day Challenge has inspired me to become a WILDFIT Coach. Never before have I ever felt a stronger desire to help people relized this potential in themselves. To change their health, it changes their life. With what I learned, I took and continued to build on and easily maintained all the progress I had and when I wanted to I could continue to grow healthier each day.
I have been on my health journey for years now, but it was not until I sat with myself and reflected on how much future impact I was really having on myself and family. Especially my girls. You see, I like easy food, not necessarily fast food, but easy and quick to make because time just felt so limited for me with everything thing I had to do. I Like prepackaged, boxed, caned and simple recipes. The problem with that was what I thought was healthy or okay but it wasn’t. With all the hustle and bustle of the days I had forgotten, more like forgo and blinded myself from my own principle of what it means to eat healthy.
While I sat there I just happened to look up and in the corner of my eye I saw my oldest daughter, who was 6 at the time, I turn to look at her and I had the loudest silent gasp I’ve ever had. I just got hit with images of corn dog, lots of them because that was what I was feeding her two to three times a week. I know those are not healthy, they are, in my opinion, disgusting and so over processed. I was feeding that to my kids every single week! I felt sick, disgusted, guilty, and ashamed with myself. I was feeding them food that wasn’t good for their bodies, it’s no wonder she was gaining weight! On top of that I was teaching her bad food habits. I’m not being the role model and mom they need me to be. So, I made a decision in that moment to turn my own food habits and beliefs in to positive and nutritious ones.
Now, I am here and I want to help you create a life of food freedom and help you inspire those you love to create healthy eating habits that will transform their life.
This pivotal point in my life inspired a trajectory of positive life changes for me that not only am I inspired to help others with their food but I am inspired to help people change their over all life - Mind, Body, Sprit.
